STATIN DRUGS HARM : ALUMINUM : CHEMTRAILS 2of4 Dr. Russell Blaylock

CHOLESTEROL DRUGS ARE DANGEROUS By Dr. Russell Blaylock STATINS: BILLIONS FOR PHARMACEUTICALS, DEATH AND DISABILITY FOR PEOPLE. For the past several years there has been a propaganda blitz not seen since the government poisoned our drinking water with fluoride. This latest blitz began with misinformation implying that dietary cholesterol is the cause of arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and that only drugs can prevent heart attacks and strokes by lowering cholesterol. The fact that 50 percent of all strokes and heart attacks have absolutely nothing to do with elevated cholesterol levels has been kept from the public eye and from physicians’ medical education. Based on the buzz, you could conclude that if you solve your cholesterol problem, you won’t suffer heart disease or a stroke. That is a lie. “But if you visit your doctor and have even slightly elevated cholesterol, he is quick to fill out a prescription for a STATIN drug such as Lipitor, Mevacor, Pravachol and Zocor. If you watch one of those Lipitor commercials, you’ll think that you’ll be taking a walk down the red carpet at a Hollywood premiere or still be diving into pools at 70 if you take Lipitor, so even if you don’t need a STATIN, you may beg your doctor to write that prescription. WHAT THE PUBLIC IS NOT TOLD IS THAT THE STATIN DRUGS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH MAJOR COMPLICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS. These include depletion of the body’s essential energy molecule coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which can lead to

????????coQ10?dor Co-enzyme Q10 supplementation improves ovarian response and mitochondrial function in aged mice E. Burstein, A. Perumalsamy, Y. Bentov, N. Esfandiari, A. Jurisicova, RF Casper O-105Tuesday, October 20, 2009 5:00 PM Article Outline • Copyright OBJECTIVE: Increased maternal age is accompanied by changes in metabolic activity of oocytes. As mitochondria are exclusively maternally inherited, alterations in their activity may severely compromise future embryo development. The objective was to compare the effects of maternal treatment with CoQ10, resveratrol or R-alpha lipoic acid (ALA), known mitochondrial nutrients, on MMP, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and mitochondrial DNA copy number in oocytes from aged ICR mice with placebo treated (aged control) or 10 week old (young control) mice. DESIGN: Randomized placebo-controlled in-vivo study. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Retired breeder (8 month old) ICR female mice (n = 40) were randomized to receive coQ10, resveratrol, R-ALA or vehicle alone via SC injections for the period of 18 weeks. Upon completion of treatment, mice were subjected to superovulation with gonadotropins, and oocytes were analyzed for mitochondrial membrane potential (JC1) and accumulation of ROS (H2DCFDA). The fluorescence of both dyes was analyzed using a deconvolution microscope and fluorescent signal was quantitated using the Delta Vision software (Silicon Graphics). Absolute mitochondrial DNA copy number was obtained by real-time PCR

Nature Made Asks Pharmacists about Statin Drugs and Co-Enzyme Q10 Depletion

(naturemade.com Statin users should certainly be mindful of a potential deficiency in CoQ10. That’s a really fascinating little dance, the Coenzyme Q10 and the statins. Statins are used to lower cholesterol. They’re very effective in what they do. Statins do show an incredible positive impact, and if you’re prescribed a statin you should take it certainly. But in doing their work, they’re also depleting Co-enzyme Q10, and this is documented in studies. Deficiency in CoQ10 you certainly are going to have issues with heart health, metabolism, and energy production, it’s a pretty extensive list. I’m not saying that the statin drugs are causing these problems. I’m saying that the Co-Q10 deficiency can cause some of these problems. It’s such a critical little chemical, but it’s so, it’s responsible for so much as far as our metabolic processes. Anyone taking a statin, which is a lot of us, should be getting a Coenzyme Q10 supplementation as well. For more information about CoQ10 visit naturemade.com

First aired on Australian television in March 2011.
